In 2022, the average export price for frozen carcasses and half-carcasses of bovine meat amounted to $4,087 per ton, growing by 16% against the previous year. In general, the export price continues to indicate modest growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when the average export price increased by 57%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $5,537 per ton. From 2019 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Taiwan (Chinese) ($10,437 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Philippines ($2,075 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
