In July 2023, the average aluminium; alloys, hollow profiles export price amounted to $4,615 per ton, with a decrease of -1.6% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price showed a mild decrease. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in January 2023 an increase of 3.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $5,407 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to July 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In July 2023, the countries with the highest prices were the Czech Republic ($4,917 per ton) and Germany ($4,782 per ton), while the average price for exports to Denmark ($3,826 per ton) and France ($4,050 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Iraq (+0.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The average aluminium; alloys, hollow profiles import price stood at $4,748 per ton in July 2023, waning by -22.5% against the previous month. In general, the import price showed a mild curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 an increase of 36% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $7,215 per ton. From March 2023 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Sweden ($9,413 per ton), while the price for China ($3,545 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Sweden (+2.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Exports of Aluminium; Alloys, Hollow Profiles in Turkey
In 2022, aluminium; alloys, hollow profiles exports from Turkey reached 132K tons, with an increase of 2.3% compared with the previous year's figure. Overall, total exports indicated significant growth from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +21.5% over the last three-year period.
