The average aluminium wire import price stood at $2,881 per ton in September 2023, waning by -25.9% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a slight curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in January 2023 an increase of 67% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $5,027 per ton. From February 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Spain ($4,969 per ton), while the price for Argentina ($2,586 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+1.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $3,606 per ton. From January 2023 to September 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
