Imports by Country

Egypt was the main importer of apples in Africa, with the volume of imports recording X tons, which was near X% of total imports in 2023. Libya (X tons) took the second position in the ranking, followed by Nigeria (X tons) and Senegal (X tons). All these countries together took near X% share of total imports. Kenya (X tons), Zambia (X tons), Zimbabwe (X tons), Namibia (X tons), Botswana (X tons), Cameroon (X tons), Ghana (X tons), Cote d'Ivoire (X tons) and Morocco (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2023, average annual rates of growth with regard to apple imports into Egypt stood at X%. At the same time, Nigeria (X%), Senegal (X%), Cote d'Ivoire (X%), Kenya (X%), Botswana (X%), Zambia (X%), Cameroon (X%), Namibia (X%), Morocco (X%) and Ghana (X%) displayed positive paces of growth.
