Yoghurt Price in Indonesia (FOB) - 2022
The average yoghurt export price stood at $1,180 per ton in March 2022, waning by -18.6% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2021 an increase of 33% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $1,492 per ton. From November 2021 to March 2022, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was Singapore ($1,862 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Philippines ($949 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Vietnam (+1.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Yoghurt Price in Indonesia (CIF) - 2022
The average yoghurt import price stood at $3,857 per ton in March 2022, shrinking by -29.6% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2022 an increase of 94% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $5,478 per ton, and then shrank significantly in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was Ireland ($5,805 per ton), while the price for France ($3,096 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Australia (+7.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Yoghurt Exports in Indonesia
In 2022, shipments abroad of yoghurt decreased by -51.8% to 2.6K tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Overall, exports showed a slight descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when exports increased by 87%.
In value terms, yoghurt exports fell remarkably to $3.4M in 2022. Over the period under review, exports saw a mild reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 55% against the previous year.

Yoghurt Imports in Indonesia
In 2022, overseas purchases of yoghurt were finally on the rise to reach 494 tons for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a drastic downturn.
In value terms, yoghurt imports shrank modestly to $1.7M in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a abrupt decline.
