Vegetable Puree Price in the UK (CIF) - 2023
The average vegetable puree import price stood at $2,671 per ton in June 2023, with a decrease of -29.6% against the previous month. In general, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in December 2022 when the average import price increased by 42% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $4,332 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to June 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was France ($6,816 per ton), while the price for Portugal ($966 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Israel (+4.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Vegetable Puree Price in the UK (FOB) - 2023
The average vegetable puree export price stood at $2,288 per ton in June 2023, with a decrease of -19.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price saw a noticeable setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in May 2023 when the average export price increased by 87% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $7,374 per ton in September 2022; however, from October 2022 to June 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Gibraltar ($4,748 per ton), while the average price for exports to the United States ($2,070 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+23.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
