Sweet Biscuit Price in Peru (FOB) - 2021
The average sweet biscuit export price stood at $1,663 per ton in April 2020, declining by -6.1% against the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a deep downturn. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $1,981 per ton. From February 2020 to April 2020, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In April 2020, the countries with the highest prices were Bolivia ($2,150 per ton) and Panama ($1,671 per ton), while the average price for exports to Chile ($1,535 per ton) and the Dominican Republic ($1,563 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From January 2020 to April 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Mexico (+0.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Sweet Biscuit Price in Peru (CIF) - 2021
In April 2020, the average sweet biscuit import price amounted to $2,352 per ton, shrinking by -12.7% against the previous month. Over the last three months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +3.0%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2020 when the average import price increased by 19% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $2,695 per ton, and then declined in the following month.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Denmark ($4,263 per ton), while the price for Bolivia ($1,732 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2020 to April 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Colombia (+2.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +9.4% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
