Spinach Price in Australia (FOB) - 2023
The average spinach export price stood at $7,225 per ton in July 2023, approximately mirroring the previous month. Over the period from July 2022 to July 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The growth pace was the most rapid in August 2022 an increase of 37% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $8,962 per ton in October 2022; however, from November 2022 to July 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Hong Kong SAR ($8,786 per ton), while the average price for exports to Malaysia ($5,447 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
