Sorghum Price in Malaysia (CIF) - 2022
The average sorghum import price stood at $765 per ton in 2022, growing by 9.4% against the previous year. In general, the import price continues to indicate a resilient increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when the average import price increased by 47% against the previous year. The import price peaked in 2022 and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, the average sorghum export price amounted to $1,200 per ton, jumping by 46% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.3%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Japan.
