In 2022, the average refined groundnut oil import price amounted to $4,051 per ton, growing by 97% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price enjoyed a pronounced expansion. The import price peaked at $4,222 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($6,200 per ton), while the price for Spain ($1,678 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+12.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, export price indicated mild growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
