The average import price for wood charcoal (including shell or nut charcoal), whether or not agglomerated stood at $2,195 per ton in December 2022, growing by 9.3% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw a pronounced reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2022 an increase of 16% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $2,800 per ton in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to December 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
