Price for Non-Alcoholic Beverage, Not Containing Milk in Indonesia (CIF) - 2022
The average import price for non-alcoholic beverages, not containing milk stood at $831 per thousand litres in March 2022, falling by -6.3% against the previous month. Overall, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2021 an increase of 25% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $1.0 per litre in November 2021; however, from December 2021 to March 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($1.7 per litre), while the price for Malaysia ($698 per thousand litres) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Malaysia (+1.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
Price for Non-Alcoholic Beverage, Not Containing Milk in Indonesia (FOB) - 2022
In March 2022, the average export price for non-alcoholic beverages, not containing milk amounted to $556 per thousand litres, reducing by -19.2% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a slight setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2021 when the average export price increased by 83% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $1.1 per litre. From June 2021 to March 2022, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Taiwan (Chinese) ($1.2 per litre), while the average price for exports to Timor-Leste ($444 per thousand litres) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Brunei Darussalam (+2.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Non-Alcoholic Beverage, Not Containing Milk in Indonesia
In 2022, approx. 18M litres of non-alcoholic beverages, not containing milk were imported into Indonesia; falling by -80.3% against the year before. Overall, imports showed a sharp reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 25% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of 90M litres, and then contracted rapidly in the following year.
In value terms, non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk imports dropped dramatically to $27M in 2022. In general, imports continue to indicate a sharp decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 36%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $82M, and then shrank significantly in the following year.

In 2022, non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk exports from Indonesia reduced dramatically to 30M litres, waning by -50.3% against the previous year's figure. Overall, exports saw a deep downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 28% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of 61M litres, and then declined sharply in the following year.
In value terms, non-alcoholic beverage, not containing milk exports fell sharply to $29M in 2022. Over the period under review, exports saw a abrupt shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 15%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $49M, and then declined rapidly in the following year.
