In 2022, the average export price for niobium, tantalum, vanadium ores and concentrateses amounted to $20,000 per ton, dropping by -49.2% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, posted a pronounced increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when the average export price increased by 90%. The export price peaked at $56,433 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was China ($409,500 per ton), while the average price for exports to the United Arab Emirates amounted to $18,335 per ton.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to China (+24.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
