In 2022, the average export price for halides and halide oxides of non-metals; excluding chlorides amounted to $8,452 per ton, jumping by 20% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The export price peaked at $9,134 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Taiwan (Chinese) ($51,736 per ton), while the average price for exports to the United States ($5,160 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Saudi Arabia (+46.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
