In 2022, the average gym and fitness equipment import price amounted to $8,629 per ton, picking up by 7.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price enjoyed a resilient expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when the average import price increased by 65% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum in 2022 and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the countries with the highest prices were Vietnam ($8,629 per ton) and the United States ($8,629 per ton), while the price for China ($8,629 per ton) and Italy ($8,629 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Vietnam (+15.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average gym and fitness equipment export price stood at $9,909 per ton in 2022, increasing by 38% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, showed a pronounced decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when the average export price increased by 60% against the previous year. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to China (+7.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Gym and Fitness Equipment in Australia
