Price for Duck and Goose Meat in China (FOB) - 2023
In September 2023, the average duck and goose meat export price amounted to $2,839 per ton, waning by -3.5% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a mild decrease. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2022 an increase of 8.2% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $3,692 per ton. From November 2022 to September 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In September 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Bahrain ($1,624 per ton) and Russia ($1,608 per ton), while the average price for exports to Afghanistan ($1,266 per ton) and Myanmar ($1,280 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kazakhstan (0.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
