The average decaffeinated or roasted coffee export price stood at $7,703 per ton in 2022, increasing by 4.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a slight contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 6.7%. The export price peaked at $9,218 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($10,596 per ton), while the average price for exports to Germany ($5,477 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Bulgaria (-0.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In 2022, the average decaffeinated or roasted coffee import price amounted to $9,892 per ton, declining by -14.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 22%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $14,071 per ton. From 2019 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
