In November 2023, the average import price for coal; anthracite, whether or not pulverised, but not agglomerateds amounted to $592 per ton, increasing by 7.4% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2023 an increase of 36% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $717 per ton in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to November 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
