In September 2023, the average broom, brush, and mop import price amounted to $559 per thousand units, declining by -2.8% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2023 when the average import price increased by 13% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $613 per thousand units in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to September 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was India ($543 per thousand units), while the price for Germany ($312 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (+7.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average broom, brush, and mop export price stood at $2.3 per unit in 2022, growing by 7.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated notable growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.8% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
