Price for Andalusite, Kyanite and Sillimanite in Latvia (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average andalusite, kyanite and sillimanite export price amounted to $1,367 per ton, dropping by -38.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 63% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2,216 per ton, and then declined remarkably in the following year.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Lithuania ($1,587 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands amounted to $1,348 per ton.

From 2018 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+6.9%).
