By contrast, Australia (-1.5%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Denmark, New Zealand, Canada, Vietnam, Colombia, Bulgaria, Australia and Uruguay increased by +5.9, +4.4, +4.3, +2.8, +2.7, +2.2, +2.2 and +1.9 percentage points, while the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the United States ($89M) remains the largest organ extracts supplier worldwide, comprising 30% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Denmark ($35M), with a 12% share of global exports. It was followed by Australia, with a 9.2% share.

In the United States, organ extracts exports increased at an average annual rate of +5.2% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Denmark (+7.4% per year) and Australia (+19.6% per year).
