NPK Fertilizer Price in Angola (CIF) - 2022
The average NPK fertilizer import price stood at $880 per ton in 2022, approximately equating the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 59% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $896 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($2,101 per ton), while the price for China ($818 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Vietnam (+12.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
NPK Fertilizer Price in Angola (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average NPK fertilizer export price amounted to $564 per ton, declining by -61.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a temperate increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when the average export price increased by 131% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $3,058 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Democratic Republic of the Congo.

NPK Fertilizer Imports in Angola
In 2022, imports of mixed nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium (NPK) fertilizers into Angola skyrocketed to 32K tons, picking up by 32% on the previous year's figure.
