View PricingNo Sugar Sweetener
No sugar sweeteners are sugar substitutes that are used as a replacement for regular sugar in food and beverages. These sweeteners provide sweetness without the added calories and are often used by individuals who are looking to reduce their sugar intake or manage conditions like diabetes. There are several types of no sugar sweeteners available on the market, each with their own unique characteristics and benefits.
One common type of no sugar sweetener is artificial sweeteners. These are synthetically produced substances that mimic the taste of sugar but are not metabolized by the body. Some popular artificial sweeteners include aspartame, saccharin, and sucralose. These sweeteners are much sweeter than sugar, so only small amounts are needed to achieve the desired level of sweetness. Artificial sweeteners are commonly found in sugar-free beverages, chewing gum, and low-calorie desserts.
Another type of no sugar sweetener is natural sweeteners. These sweeteners are derived from natural sources such as plants or fruits and are not chemically modified. Examples of natural sweeteners include stevia and monk fruit extract. Stevia, also known as stevia leaf extract, is derived from the Stevia rebaudiana plant. It is known for its intense sweetness and is often used as a sugar substitute in beverages and baked goods. Monk fruit extract, on the other hand, is derived from the monk fruit and is a popular natural sweetener due to its low calorie content and high sweetness.
No sugar sweeteners can also be categorized as nutritive or non-nutritive sweeteners. Nutritive sweeteners like sugar alcohols (e.g., erythritol, xylitol) provide calories but are metabolized more slowly, resulting in a smaller impact on blood sugar levels. Non-nutritive sweeteners, such as the artificial and natural sweeteners mentioned earlier, provide little to no calories as they are not broken down by the body.
It's important to note that while no sugar sweeteners can be a useful tool for reducing sugar intake or managing certain health conditions, moderation is still key. Some individuals may experience digestive issues or discomfort when consuming large amounts of sugar substitutes. Additionally, it's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet.

This year, world sugar production is expected to rise by 3% to 193M tons. The growth will be encouraged by favorable weather conditions in most of the largest producing countries, as well as the providing exemptions on the neonicotinoid usage against plant diseases and blights in France, Germany and the UK. The drop in sugar production and shipments from Brazil will be offset by large volumes coming from Thailand, which will boost global exports by +2.6% y-o-y. The increased supply in the world market is to keep sugar prices relatively stable over the next two years.
