In July 2023, the average mixes and doughs import price amounted to $2,742 per ton, surging by 4.6% against the previous month. Over the period from July 2022 to July 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.7%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 14% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $2,860 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to July 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Italy ($6,339 per ton), while the price for New Zealand ($1,755 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+6.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
Mixes and Doughs Price in Australia (FOB) - 2023
In July 2023, the average mixes and doughs export price amounted to $2,145 per ton, increasing by 4.3% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.6%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 25% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $2,478 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to July 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Hong Kong SAR ($3,589 per ton), while the average price for exports to Singapore ($848 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Mixes and Doughs Imports in Australia
