The average mandarins import price stood at $1,106 per ton in July 2023, dropping by -30.1% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 when the average import price increased by 21% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $1,720 per ton. From June 2023 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($1,110 per ton), while the price for Spain ($824 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+29.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average mandarins export price stood at $1,168 per ton in 2022, surging by 4.8% against the previous year. Over the period from 2017 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +6.3%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 24%. The export price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets.
