The average liqueurs and cordials import price stood at $5.1 per litre in July 2023, waning by -4.5% against the previous month. Over the period from July 2022 to July 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.9%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 36% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $6.6 per litre. From March 2023 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($8.5 per litre), while the price for Spain ($3.3 per litre) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+11.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
