In 2022, the average fishing reels export price amounted to $70,101 per ton, reducing by -3.3% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated strong growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +9.7% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, fishing reels export price increased by +19.5% against 2020 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 89%. The export price peaked at $88,291 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Finland ($133,976 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($67,617 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
