The average cinnamon import price stood at $6,332 per ton in June 2023, with a decrease of -7.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, posted a notable expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 96% against the previous month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $9,351 per ton. From March 2023 to June 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($10,160 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands totaled $5,825 per ton.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+3.5%).

The average cinnamon export price stood at $14,957 per ton in June 2023, with an increase of 10% against the previous month.
