Broken Rice Price in Tanzania (FOB) - 2022

In 2022, the average broken rice export price amounted to $331 per ton, jumping by 46% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a perceptible expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.4% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, broken rice export price decreased by -12.4% against 2018 indices. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Pakistan (+53.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United Arab Emirates (+0.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
