Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
Exports by Country
Romania was the main exporter of woven fabrics of silk or of silk waste in Eastern Europe, with the volume of exports accounting for X square meters, which was near X% of total exports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Lithuania (X square meters), Belarus (X square meters) and Hungary (X square meters), together committing a X% share of total exports. Poland (X square meters) followed a long way behind the leaders.
Romania experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of exports of woven fabrics of silk or of silk waste. At the same time, Belarus (X%), Lithuania (X%), Hungary (X%) and Poland (X%) displayed positive paces of growth.
