In 2022, the average import price for zinc; plates, sheets, strip and foils amounted to $6,642 per ton, declining by -33.2% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, posted a prominent expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 an increase of 72%. The import price peaked at $9,948 per ton in 2021, and then declined markedly in the following year.
