Flax Yarn Price in Latvia (FOB) - 2022

The average flax yarn export price stood at $3,026 per ton in 2022, falling by -7.2% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when the average export price increased by 16% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $3,260 per ton in 2021, and then reduced in the following year.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($8,124 per ton), while the average price for exports to France stood at $2,859 per ton.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+2.5%).

From 2015 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
