In 2022, the average commercial printing import price amounted to $5,892 per ton, with a decrease of -2% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when the average import price increased by 7.3% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $6,696 per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($11,504 per ton), while the price for Turkey ($3,166 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+3.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
