Commercial Printing Price in Morocco (CIF) - 2022
The average commercial printing import price stood at $13,175 per ton in December 2022, with an increase of 31% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated resilient growth from December 2021 to December 2022: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +5.6% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on December 2022 figures, commercial printing import price increased by +74.2% against October 2022 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2022 an increase of 87% month-to-month. The import price peaked in December 2022.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Italy ($83,215 per ton), while the price for Egypt ($1,185 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2021 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+16.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average commercial printing export price amounted to $16,788 per ton, jumping by 119% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price showed strong growth. The export price peaked at $17,716 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($189,138 per ton), while the average price for exports to Egypt ($724 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Switzerland (+18.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
