Exports in South-Eastern Asia

In 2023, overseas shipments of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments decreased by X% to X units, falling for the third year in a row after five years of growth. Over the period under review, exports, however, enjoyed prominent growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, the exports of hit record highs at X units in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2023, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, exports of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments declined to $X in 2023. Overall, exports, however, enjoyed a resilient increase. From 2012 to 2023, the biggest increases were recorded for Myanmar (with a CAGR of X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
