In 2022, overseas shipments of fish fats and oils increased by X% to X tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year declining trend. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a remarkable increase. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Exports by Country
China (X tons) and India (X tons) were the largest exporters of fish fats and oils in 2022, finishing at near X% and X% of total exports, respectively. It was distantly followed by Vietnam (X tons), Japan (X tons) and Malaysia (X tons), together constituting a X% share of total exports. Thailand (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the leading exporting countries, was attained by Japan (with a CAGR of X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
